Gear change shift shaft - genuine Yamaha part - used

This is the splined part that the gear change lever fits on. Part 1 in the photo.

It has a couple of wear marks from a loose chain but that in no way affects its usefulness.

Fits all models and years of TTR250 including the Raid.

Normally over £60 retail in the UK!

A pair of matching crankcases from a running engine that will fit any year or model TTR including the Raid.

A perfect basis for a "bottom up" engine rebuild or for boring to take a big bore kit's oversize sleeve!

They represent incredible value for money as a pair of bare cases from a Yamaha parts dealer is about £740!

The crankcases are complete with all bearings, clutch actuating arm/lever, neutral switch, sump plug and crankcase bolts - as can be seen in the photos.

It has the full original 4GY engine number.

The cases have been thoroughly cleaned and are ready to use.

NB A previous owner has broken off a small piece of casting that held in the kickstart spring retaining post - see the photo in the gallery. If the new owner wanted to fit a kickstart mechanism then it would be a straightforward job to TIG weld a replacement pin in place. See here

Cleaned and re-plated. Good threads.

Headlight relay rubber mounting - genuine OEM part - used

This rubber mounting allows the headlight and flasher relay units to be attached to the frame.

Advisory:
US frames may not have the bracket to mount the rubber - please check before ordering.

Emulsifier bracket for airbox - genuine Yamaha - used

Front brake caliper mounting bolt in used condition.

Not pristine but a very usable part!

Starter motor - genuine Yamaha part - used.

A used starter with an excellent pinion and good brushes.

Tested and works well!

Rare item - these don't come up for sale often!

Properly built unlike the after-market items which seem to have pinions made of cheese and magnets that fall into the armature with disastrous consequences!

A new starter from a Yamaha dealer is over £305!
