The Stainless Steel Tail Tidy - Number Plate Replacement Unit

We are asked regularly by owners for a more compact number plate holder to replace a broken one or just to be able to stow the original so as not to damage it on the lanes in the event of a fall

Having broken my own unit, I was prompted to design this strong & versatile replacement that looked good & wouldn't rust

Manufactured locally from 2mm laser cut stainless steel

Fashioned to take a number plate light unit or single central LED bulb

Super strong and a really nice bit of kit for your bike.

Moulded to fit the three sub-frame tabs that locate the original unit - sadly the US model TTRs lack these tabs so the tidy won't fit. (please check the photo below, even if you are only left with the two outside tabs, they will still work for you)

You will need to adjust the middle tab, to get the rquired angle you desire.

If your number plate light unit is damaged then an alternative is to replace it with the neat unit below which bolts straight into the centre hole of our Totally TTRs tail tidy.

It features a "brow" on the lens to direct the beam downwards onto the number plate. Universal 6mm bolt fitting, 12V 1.4W,  E-marked, size 2.6 x 1.8 x 1.7cm.

The photo below doesn't do it justice as I had mounted the number plate a bit high so the top corners aren't too well lit but you could fit your own number plate a bit lower to improve things.

The LED light has had its cables extendied and is ready to connect into your existing wiring loom as per the old tail light.

Rear reflector - fits all models and years including the Raid

If you have fitted a tail tidy, or just cut down your original number plate mount, then you will need to fit a reflector to stay legal in the UK.

This is a nice simple solution and just sticks on your TTR number plate light with an adhesive pad.

NB The reflector is too wide for the after-market number plate light we sell. Use a small round reflector stuck on your number plate instead.

TTR250 small replacement indicators - fits the front and back of the blue models

A simple pair of small short flexy stem black indicators with 10W bulbs so the flasher unit works properly. They have orange lenses and clear bulbs.

Easy fit into the original brackets, I have changed the bullet connectors on them to make sure that they fit with no modifications..

Really nice looking with flexy stem, half the size of the originals that you can see from the moon! I liked them so much, I fitted them to my bike :-)
