Rear brake piston and seal kit - aftermarket. Honing required - see notes!

Brand new aftermarket rear brake piston and seal kit.

The piston is 0.05mm bigger in diameter than the OEM one and it is not recommended that it is fitted to the standard bore brake caliper. The caliper needs to be honed in order to use this kit.

If your seals were leaking then it makes sense to have your caliper honed in any case.

Most garages are able to hone brake cylinders and it literally takes only a few minutes so should be a cheap job - but ask first!

Cheap and effective caliper hone tools are available from Amazon and eBay. They need to be able to work in a 32mm diameter. An example is available here.
