WR250R/X - Long Clutch Cable

The downside of fitting high bars and/or bar risers is that you may find that you need longer cables. I am able to supply these having had a batch of top quality cables made up especially for Totally WRs by Venhill.

Venhill made up these cables from genuine Yamaha WR250R/X clutch and throttle cables that I lent them. The Venhill cables offer improved performance, durability and smoother control feel.

The cables are made from marine-grade stainless steel inner wire (featherlight), flat wound steel conduit and are ‘Bird-caged’ for strength and durability. They are also fitted with a low-friction Teflon liner for a lighter action.

These are long enough (10cm longer than the standard cables) to also allow the use of bar risers with the high bars.

These Bars are not quite as high as the Dakar bars 11mm less. I got them in as no one has stock of the Dakars at the moment :-(

If you re-route your cables a little it is possible to run standard cables with these. If not you will still need the longer cables.
