The Stainless Steel Tail Tidy - Number Plate Replacement Unit

We are asked regularly by owners for a more compact number plate holder to replace a broken one or just to be able to stow the original so as not to damage it on the lanes in the event of a fall

Having broken my own unit, I was prompted to design this strong & versatile replacement that looked good & wouldn't rust

Manufactured locally from 2mm laser cut stainless steel

Fashioned to take a number plate light unit or single central LED bulb

Super strong and a really nice bit of kit for your bike.

Moulded to fit the three sub-frame tabs that locate the original unit - sadly the US model TTRs lack these tabs so the tidy won't fit. (please check the photo below, even if you are only left with the two outside tabs, they will still work for you)

You will need to adjust the middle tab, to get the rquired angle you desire.

 TT250R washer - fits all models

This special washer has a number of applications on the TTR.
It fits behind:

• the camshaft slipper retaining bolts,

• the ignition coil retaining bolts,

• the tank bolts on plastic tank models,

• the headlight stay on plastic tank models,

• handguard retaining bolts.

The Case Saver is engineered to help prevent the case from getting damaged in the event of chain derailment. Made in the UK by Chameleon Engineering from 6061 billet aluminium, and has a brushed natural finish. It is embossed with the TT-R logo and looks very nice indeed!

NB NOT suitable for 15T sprockets as the chain can rub.

Stainless fixing bolts included.

Rear passenger foot pegs - complete with bolts, springs and washers - new.

Sorry but they won't fit US frames which do not have the fixing bolt holes in the rear subframe.

Frame guard or "tensioner" kit - this fits to the frame above where the chain runs and protects the frame from a loose chain. 

They usually get very worn over time and are worth replacing before they wear through.

The fiche diagram below shows the parts included in the kit and where they bolt to the frame.

16cm length Single Sided Adhesive Strip foam 

Dirt getting up under your seat into your airbox and over your CDI and electrics?

Replace your old or missing foam with this to stop the problem.

Clean off all trace of the old foam & adhesive to leave a smooth clean and dry surface before putting on the new strip. Press on firmly!
